When your baby was a newborn she didn't have the physical and mental
skills to let you know how she felt. Now she's really starting to show her
emotional side. If she hasn't already, your baby will soon laugh at funny
expressions and try to make you laugh, too. She may demonstrate her strong
attachment to you by raising her arms when she wants you to pick her up and
crying when you leave the room. She'll also give you hugs and kisses. Crawling
is probably a little way off yet. But your baby may still spend time trying to
get her chest and bottom off the ground at the same time, with a wonderful
see-saw effect!
