Your
baby is getting cleverer every day! Try this: show her a toy, put it under a
plastic cup, then lift up the cup and let her take it. Do this two more times.
Now take the toy and put it under something different, such as a little box,
and watch what she does. She'll probably look for the toy under the cup. This
may not seem like a sign of intelligence to you, but it shows she's learned
that things continue to exist even when she can't see them. Soon She'll be
looking in the right place, under the box, instead.
