If they handed out ribbons for achieving toddler
milestones, your child would be decorated like a five-star general by now.
Among other skills, he's probably learned how to wave 'bye-bye', roll a ball
back and forth with you, stoop down and stand back up again, and say several
words. As you marvel at all he's accomplished so far, remember that your
toddler's increasing mobility means you need to take extra precautions to keep
him safe. It's important to childproof your house and set up safety gates at
the top of stairways, but the best precaution of all is your constant
supervision.
