Your baby is probably head-down in your uterus — although he may continue to change position — and his skull bones are still pliable to help him ease through the birth canal. A few babies remain breech and may need extra care during delivery. Mild, irregular contractions known as Braxton Hicks (practice contractions) may become more noticeable as the days go by.
